Welcome to DESERTGREENER

Our response to the global water crisis

Why DESERT GREENER?

There are currently 7.5 billion people living on our planet. 2.5 billion people are currently suffering from water shortages and do not have regular access to clean water. It’s an alarming trend, because in a few decades there will be 10 billion people living on our planet, while water supplies will be sufficient for only 2.5 billion – a dramatic discrepancy that is due to increasing consumption and dwindling reserves. Looking into the future is worrying. There is a global threat of famine and conflicts over water resources. The world’s deserts and dry zones continue to expand every year, now reaching dimensions that exceed the area of Belgium and are even larger than North and South America combined.

We firmly believe that we must act together to address these challenges. Our website not only offers insights into current developments, but also a solution that can help address water shortages worldwide. Join our movement to protect resources and create a sustainable future for future generations. Every contribution counts – get informed, get active and let’s bring about positive change together.

DESERT GREENER technology is the answer to the global freshwater shortage

DESERT GREENER offers efficient, cost-effective and scalable technology

DESERT GREENER technology represents a groundbreaking method for optimally bundling solar energy. Heated water is evaporated and freed from salt, minerals, impurities and other deposits.

In contrast to most solar distillation systems, with our technology the solar energy is not converted into electricity using photovoltaics and then back into heat, but is reflected directly into the water to be heated and focused there. This means we use over 90% of the solar energy, compared to conventional photovoltaic systems, which only convert 20% of the energy.

The DESERT GREENER technology is characterized by its design, which aims to efficiently heat water in the largest possible cubatures. This approach is currently the most efficient way to use solar energy to evaporate water.

Our technology is protected by patents in the target markets and manufacturing countries.

FAQ - Questions and Answers

Our mission is to transform desert areas worldwide into flourishing, fertile landscapes. By using our patented technology and sustainable methods, we aim not only to regenerate the environment, but also to significantly improve the lives of local people. We are committed to bringing food security, clean water, and economic opportunities to affected regions through our projects. Our work creates jobs, promotes education, and helps communities to develop independently and sustainably.

Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions for the global water crisis using the innovative DESERTGREENER technology. We rely on state-of-the-art methods of seawater desalination, water treatment, and efficient irrigation to create new opportunities in desert regions as well as coastal areas with water scarcity. By restoring and upgrading saline soils, we enable productive agriculture and strengthen the local economy. Our commitment includes collaboration with communities, research institutions, and partners worldwide in order to improve access to water, increase agricultural production, and sustainably enhance the quality of life for people.

The DESERTGREENER technology impresses with its sensational high efficiency in the use of solar energy. Innovative energy recycling achieves an effect that works like an energy multiplication. Compared to conventional solar systems, the DESERTGREENER technology delivers at least 25 times the energy yield.

Our patented innovation is a technology that desalinates seawater or saltwater into freshwater and delivers a variety of valuable products.

Distilled water: is mainly used in laboratories, medicine, pharmaceuticals, and battery production due to its purity to create precise solutions and clean sensitive devices. It also finds use in households for gentle cleaning of surfaces and as an electrolyte in car batteries for performance optimization. Thanks to the cost-effective production through our technology, it can also be used in the future in agriculture for irrigation and processed as drinking water.
In addition to distilled water, salts and minerals remain after evaporation of seawater, which can be traded as valuable raw materials.

Sodium (Na): Sodium is used in the chemical industry for the production of various compounds. It is also used in the food industry as a preservative and flavor enhancer.

Chloride (CI): Chloride is often used in water treatment to kill bacteria and other microorganisms. It is also used in the food industry, the chemical industry, and pharmaceuticals.

Magnesium (Mg): Magnesium is used in various industries, including metal processing, electronics manufacturing, and fireworks production. It also has medical applications as a dietary supplement and in the treatment of magnesium deficiency.

Calcium (Ca): Calcium is an important building block for bones and teeth and is therefore often used as a dietary supplement. It is also used in the food industry, the chemical industry, and the construction industry.

Potassium (K): Potassium has various applications in agriculture, particularly as a fertilizer to improve plant growth. It is also used in the food industry, the chemical industry, and medicine.

The excess energy provided by DESERTGREENER allows for electrolysis, which delivers a variety of useful products that are of great importance in various industries and applications.

Hydrogen (H₂): Hydrogen gas is produced at the cathode and can be used as a clean fuel or energy carrier.

Oxygen (O₂): Oxygen gas is produced at the anode and can be used for industrial applications, medical purposes or to support combustion processes.

Chlorine (Cl₂): Chlorine is also produced at the anode and has numerous industrial applications, including the production of disinfectants, PVC, and other chemicals.

Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), also known as caustic soda: Caustic soda is produced as a by-product and is a valuable chemical reagent used in many industrial processes, including paper making, soap and detergent production, and water treatment.

Humanity requires a doubling of human water supply in the coming decades. This can only be achieved on a large scale by the DESERTGREENER technology. Egypt can thus receive a second Nile that flows upstream from the Mediterranean, up to 50 million km2 of Earth's dry zones can be supplied with water and thus completely changed, water scarcity will become a thing of the past, as will the deserts, which give way to new living space for about 11 billion people.

Humanity faces the challenge of doubling water supply in the coming decades to meet rising demand. This massive task can only be dealt with on a large scale by innovative technology, like that of DESERTGREENER.

A Second Nile for Egypt

With our technology, Egypt could receive a second Nile, which would flow upstream from the Mediterranean. This would not only dramatically increase water availability in the region but also create new agricultural and economic opportunities.

Supplying Dry Zones Worldwide

The DESERTGREENER technology has the potential to provide up to 50 million km² of dry zones worldwide with water. These areas could be completely transformed, making water scarcity a thing of the past.

Creating New Living Spaces

By irrigating and greening deserts, new living spaces could be created for about 11 billion people. This would not only improve the quality of life but also open up new economic opportunities and livelihoods for billions of people.

With DESERTGREENER technology, a sustainable and water-rich future can become a reality, securing the basis for human life and development.
